Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Central London based client to recruit for an Indirect Buyer.

Key purpose of role:

To source services and products at competitive price and manage risk through using effective category and contract management.

Key Accountabilities:

* Conduct category management reviews.
* Conduct tendering and benchmarking exercises in line with the category strategy.
* Ensure all contracts are in place with suppliers.
* Ensure all suppliers are compliant to company policies.
* Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements.
* Monitor suppliers to ensure they are delivering in line with expectations and agreements.
* Communicate any changes which are likely to impact the business.

Skills and Experience required:

* Negotiation.
* Commercial acumen.
* Process orientated.
* Strong IT skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Degree and or CIPS qualified.
* Previous experience at Buyer level of at least 3 years.
