Portfolio Procurement are recruiting on behalf of an expanding business who are looking for a Buyer to join their team. We are looking for someone who has experience within the Manufacturing or Engineering Industry. It is also a must that you are willing to travel between my clients two sites.

Main Duties

* Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
* Negotiate annual cost savings for the business where applicable
* Purchasing of materials and other requirements for the sites
* Good Inventory Management experience
* Excellent understanding of Inventory Management Systems
* Experience procuring metals and steels
* Excellent record keeping
* Good understanding of supply chain management

* Awareness of procurement practices and techniques
* IT Skills and communication skills
